Chill Pill: Cool Vibes

The client wanted to create a record cover that could tie in with Anxiety Disorders and Depression Association of America’s goals, specifically their work with helping those with anxiety disorders. For this, I themed the entire look of the album around ice. I used cooler, less exciting colors to help show that the mood of this record would not be “action with rock and roll,” but something more calming. Going with the cooler colors, as well as the albums title “Chill Pill,” strove to make everything look like ice. The background being a darker chunk of ice, while the type would appear to be carved into said ice. I also made a T-shirt and a pin to go along with the album.
