Frank Welker TV: Guide Portrait

My client for this project was to create a digital painting of voice actor Frank Welker that could be featured on a TV guide cover. For this, I found a nice picture of Welker and started painting, leaving room for the TV Guide logo and a blurb at the bottom. To help people know who he is, as it is easy to not realize who voices a character unless you look for their names in the credits, I choose two of his most well known, and my favorite, rolls that he has had, Fred Jones from Scooby Doo and Megatron from Transformers. I did my best to keep the styles similar so the illustrations of these characters didn’t stick out too much.
